Trend Report for The Style Column

In recent years print has made a great impact and wormed its way into all our wardrobes, greatly due to the emergence of print superstars such as Jonathan Saunders and Mary Katrantzou. This season the historical Baroque print has become a prominent trend and features in copious designer collections. Synonymous with the brand Versace, baroque can now be seen incorporated into a variety of styles and garments with varying degrees of intensity. This season the likes of Roberto Cavalli, Thakoon and Clements Ribeiro have taken on the highly decorative and detailed print, in the form of palazzo pants, simple tops, scarves and clutch bags. Investing in a bit of baroque now will not only get your though spring summer in style but carry you right through to autumn winter where the trend continues to make a statement. Here’s some of TSC’s favourite baroque pieces available at the moment.
