So I've now finished my first year of university - it's gone SO fast.
The last project I completed and handed in just before Easter was for the Graphics & Imaging unit of this year. For this we were asked to create a publication for one of three creative institutions. I chose to focus on the BFI & fashion's relationship with film.
After watching and researching into a number of films and individuals involved in the film industry, I chose to look further into the work of Wes Anderson who created films such as The Darjeeling Limited, The Royal Tenenbaums, Moonrise Kingdom & The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.
Focusing on the imagery from these films and as wel as others created by Anderson I developed a set of collages and illustrations that I digitally incorporated into my publication.
Due to lack of time and annoyingly never available facilities at uni I was a little disappointed in my final publication as a whole as I was unable to print and bind it particularly well/creatively. However, I was quite pleased with some of my final images.
