Title explains it all a bit bored & felt a bit inspired from browsing illustrations on blogs and so I whacked out my pastels and drew this.

It feels like ages since i've done any drawing or art.

I need to draw more often.
SO...I have decided to set myself a challenge to draw something each day....or at least do something creative each day. & I shall post each piece on here. It can be as small or big as I like or feel like doing that day.
I just need something to keep up and improve my art.

....her hand looks pretty mental btw! Maybe i'll work into that....

Like most things this is greatly overdue!
Here is a picture of my first finished outfit!
I created this with class mate Kitty.
We designed the print together and then Kitty made the top and I made the skirt.
Our print is based upon a mixture of the natural world and optical art.
We had to hand paint our print which took FOREVER, especially on the skirt!
The garments and print placement was greatly inspired by Jonathan Saunders S/S 11 collection, which included lots of pleats and panels of print.
We had a bit of a scare when we dyed our fabric as the skirt came out more of a light green when we wanted it duck egg blue!
But it turned out for the better & the two colours look great together!
So SO please with how it turned out and very proud of us :)
Happy with the model we got to!
Can't wait to see it in the end of year fashion show!

I'm going a bit crazy for pink at the moment!
I was in need of some new trousers for my school reunion evening the other night and after falling in love with my Whistles pleated skirt I was inspired to buy these coral/pink coloured Jamie jeans from Topshop.
I was searching for red jeans but alas they had non & I came across these.
So glad I did!
They look ace!
Matched them with my blue suede kitten heels from Zara, Luella white floral blouse and Joseph grey blazer.

Another topic from the Royal Wedding yesterday...
How bloody ridiculous did Beatrice and Eugenie look?!
Hat & head piece designer Philip Treacy is amazing, having designed amazing pieces for icon Isabella blow. But these two are all wrong!!
And their dresses were no better..
They look like the two ugly step sisters!

As if you didn't all already know today was the Royal Wedding!
Was proper hyped for it!
Kate looked stunning in a beautiful vintage lace dress created by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen!
An obvious and brilliant choice!
The lace is unique and is embellished with roses, thistles, daffodils and shamrocks, all emblems of the United Kingdom, and cut from English and French Chantilly lace.
I loved the lace, shape and cut of the dress and it looked perfect on her.
It was a lovely wedding (though took forever for them to kiss!!) and Westminster Abbey looked so nice, with real tree lining the aisle!
I celebrated with friends by having a big plate of good old British fish and chips :D

Another shot of Jacks.
I look a bit freaky/retarded but I like the eye makeup!

Did a little night time photo shoot with my lovely boyfriend Jack earlier this week.
We played around with eye makeup & got a bit gothic.
Ended up outside in just a tee and my knickers!
After a suggestion from my mum we went to the old, dilapidated village church and grave yard with an old lantern & did some shots where I look pretty demented!
Some came out pretty creepy, love it!

See them here.

After doing a shoot yesterday with Jack, I feel like going crazy with makeup.

Annoyingly can't find a close up...
Saw this Chanel handbag in the Chanel shoe concession in Selfridges when I was in Lonodon and looooved it!
It's so cute, it has little ladybirds embellished onto it.
Another reason to envy Alexa Chung....

Just cracking out all the iPhone photos from London now!
Got this black and white polka dot midi skirt & sleeveless blouse in the Topshop sale...roughly £15 each..!
Really proud of them, looks really quite classy and I think this suits me more than some other things I wear.
Also goes great with the blue suede heels!

This blog is like shoe porn!
I love it!!!

Really awful phone photo, but I got these ace blue suede heels from Zara while in London.
Love them, but a little scared to ruin the suede!!
Really comfortable to walk in as they just have a small kitten heel too.

I'm so out of the loop at the moment!!
Think it's form going without a decent laptop and access to the internet for so long.

While in London, Mum and I started on a wild goose chase to find this amazing neon pink pleated skirt from Whistles. I saw it about two months ago in Selfridges in Birmingham worn with a little grey jumper and fell in loooove with it!
Since spotting it then t's popped up everywhere and become the 'IT' skirt of Spring 2011.
So proud to finally own one!
Everywhere in London had pretty much sold out apart from size 14!
Mother was jammy and managed to get it from John Lewis on a 20% off day!

Wore it out for the first time on my birthday with my Batman Luella tee, Prada studded heels and Vivienne Westwood clutch :)
Makes me feel pretty and dainty!

It's been quite a while since my last post now...I just couldn't face using my rubbish old laptop!

But now I have a fabulous new Mac Book Pro that I got for my Birthday :D
The days of taking half an hour to do anything and working with a cracked screen are gone!

I don't even know where to behind on everything!
So think i'll just start a fresh.

Had an amazing time in London on my Internship at Jonathan Saunders. Didn't want to leave!
It's completely confirmed my desire to live and work in London.
The days were long and tiring, but I loved every minute of it!
& it was great to make some real friends and contacts in the city.
It was quite a quiet time of year as they had just done the AW'11 catwalk and weren't quite full on into the designing for next years stuff, so there wasn't a hell of a lot to do, but i was quite grateful that there wasn't too much pressure as I'd hate to have made mistakes and upset people!
Can't wait to do more internships!
Fingers crossed that something else comes up!

Also got some yummy new things, including bright blue trousers and blue suede heels from Zara!

Unfortunately the shop that I worked at closed down while I was away, so I am now jobless!! There appears to be absolutely NOTHING in Lincoln at the moment! So I guess I shall just be taking advantage of and enjoying all the free time I now have until something comes up!

Yesterday was my 19th birthday, it was sooooooooo lovely! :D
Beautiful weather and spent the whole day with the gorgeous boyfriend playing in the sun & eating way too much!

I got my beautiful new Mac as well as some lovely roses and lots of chocolate! I also got a stunning leather Vivienne Westwood clutch and pearl necklace and bracelet that are to be shared with mother!

Was a great day :)

And tomorrow, a night in town is on the cards!
Wooooo :)
